In the fictitious universe of the Star Wars , the galactic République is the name given to the Political regime which controlled the galaxy during nearly 25.000 years. Its last supreme chancellor was the politician Palpatine who transformed it into Empire at the end of the Guerre of the clones, in the year 19 av. BY…

History

The Republic was created towards 25.000 front BY when the first Galactic Constitution was signed on Coruscant by some worlds wishing to see peace thriving in the galaxy. This creditable goal was taken a long time at evil by galactic powers such as the Sith, large enemies of the Jedi, or the Mandalorien S. the Republic survived these aggressions, but peace was acquired with difficulty. Operation

The Republic is a democracy directed by a Sénat and its Supreme Chancellor. It has a Supreme court for the businesses of justice. It has only one room of Parliament: the Senate what makes a government monocaméral of it.

In normal weather there is no army, if it is not an army of pageantry. The Republic is founded on the principle of Peace. However the safety is ensured by the Ordre Jedi.
