The price Gairdner are given since 1957 by the Fondation Gairdner and is decreed with a private individual or with a group usually cash with more the two people whose work or contribution constitutes a realization concretes in the field of medical sciences. Many the prizes winner of this price obtain then a Nobel Prize (65 of 1959 with semi-2006).
