Gagik Hovounts , born in 1930, is a Compositeur Arménie N.

Biography

Born with Erevan, he studied the Violon and the composition with the academy of this city. It taught the musical theory thereafter there, until in 1964. He is the author of a treaty of harmony.

Work

Hovounts wrote works for instruments solo and duet, for whole of Chamber music, for choruses and orchestras.

Some of its works are published by the Russian producer " Melodia" , while others were interpreted by the soloists of the Symphony orchestra of the USSR. In France, Hovounts was amongst other things played festival of chamber music " Musicimes" (Courchevel).

Artistic step

The marked step of Hovounts as regards composition consists of the setting in front of the musical approach, in opposition to the theoretical approach, in order to preserve spontaneousness of it.
