Gagh

The gagh is, in the universe of fiction of Star Trek , mets particularly snuffed of the Klingon S.

They are worms of a variety of Serpent which Klingons like to taste very fresh, i.e. still alive. The worms die only when they arrive in the Estomac. There exist 51 varieties of gagh, differing as well by the taste as by texture.

Among these varieties, one can quote the gagh of Torgud, which frétille; that of Filden which is sticky; that of Meshta which hops; that of Bithool which has large legs or the gagh of Wistan which bathes in blood of Targ (see Star Trek: Deep Space Nine : the return of the girl lavishes - Prodigal Daughter ).

But Klingons declare, for the majority, being indifferent to the savor of the gagh, more appreciating the pleasure gotten by the agitation of the worms at the time of their ingestion. The gagh can also be consumed cooked.

Although the majority of the Humains test dislike for this dish, William Riker (see Star Trek: The new generation : Question of honor - has off Matter Honor ) and Jean-Luc Picard (see Star Trek: The new generation: Reunification - Unification ) appreciates it.

In 2375, gagh is delivered on the station Deep Space Nine , ordered by Jadzia Dax, little before its death, for the birthday of the general Martok, but Ezri Dax the fact of throwing in space because the only thought which one can eat makes it sick (see Star Trek: Deep Space Nine : the return of the girl lavishes - Prodigal Daughter ).
