Gadu-Gadu

Gadu-Gadu is a very popular system of Instant messaging in Poland and which uses its clean Protocole owner. He is financed by the messages of publicity and, as for ICQ, the users are identified thanks to a single number. Gadu-Gadu is currently available in version 7.6.

The official version manages 150 Smiley S different, allows the transmission of the messages even when the recipient is out-line, as well as the voice on IP. Thanks to version 6.0, a protected connection using SSL can be carried out. One of the most popular functionalities is the option of statute, making it possible to the users to post short messages under their “misadventure” on the contact lists of the other users. There exists also many Plug-in which makes it possible to enrich its functionalities. Moreover, software like Pidgin (ex-Gaim), Tlen.pl, Kopete, Adium or Miranda IM makes it possible to use the protocol of Gadu-Gadu.
