Gabriel Pierre Patrice Rambourgt

Gabriel Pierre Patrice Rambourgt , born with Troyes (Paddle), general French.

Hardly left childhood, it lined up under the flag the September 18th 1792 in the capacity as second lieutenant in the 10^e regiment of cavalry. The March 2nd 1814, to the combat of Parma, it was announced again, destroyed the enemy rear-guard in Reggio, and supported the retirement of the army since the Taro. Following these feats of arms, it was named Commandeur of the Iron Crown.

In the countryside of 1815, it made wonders of value to the head of the light cavalry of the Armée with the Jura; it was him whom the general Lecourbe sent to Paris to carry the tender of the army. Put at the half-pay, it accepted order to leave Paris in the twenty-four hours and was withdrawn in the Département of the Aude, where it dealt with agricultural work.

In 1820, it ordered, with Colmar, the 2^e subdivision of the 5^e military division at the time of the Conspiration of Béfort; the control which it held in this circumstance was highly blamed royalist authorities; he pretended to be unaware of many things, and it did not depend on him that the conspirators did not stop in carried out who were to lose them. After July 1830, the Rambourgt general left his command by carrying the regard of the Alsacien S. It was put at the retirement before the age in 1832.
