Edouard Gabriel Lelièvre, known as Gabriel Gabrio, wire of a stirrer of the Pommery cellars, the last of 16 children, made his beginnings with the Casino of Rheims. Movie actor, it made at least 38 films of 1925 to 1943. As of its second film, in 1925, it obtained to a triumphal success in the Poor wretches, with the role of Jean Valjean. Its last but one film was the Visitors of the evening . Patient, it withdrew himself in his Jean-Valjean villa with Berchères-on-Vesgre.
