Gabardan
The Gabardan is an old country of Gascogne, in the east of the current department of the Landes, with horse on the Gers. It is constitutive of the Petites Moors, area of transition between the High-Moor and the Armagnac
Principal city: Gabarret.
History
Just like the Country of Marsan and the Aguais, the Vicomté of Gabardan belonged to the Duché of Albret at the 16th century and entered the royal Domaine in 1589, with the accession of Henri IV with the throne of France.
