G Dallas Hanna

G Dallas Hanna is a zoologist, a malacologist and a American paleontologist , born the April 24th 1887 with Carlisle (Arkansas) and dead the November 20th 1970 in California.

It makes studies with the Université of Kansas where it obtains its Bachelor off Arts in 1911 and its Master off Arts in 1913. It supports a thesis with the Université George Washington in 1918. Hanna works initially as assistant with the service of fishings of 1911 to 1919 before becoming preserving off of Paléontologie to the California Academy Sciences, function which it preserves until in 1970.

It makes many forwardings (Alaska, Guadeloupe…). It makes party of several learned societies of which the Cooper Ornithological Club. With Leo George Hertlein (1898-1972), Archibald McClure Strong (1876-1951) and Allyn Goodwin Smith (1893-1976), it makes appear articles on the Mollusque S of America of the west. He also studies the Foraminifère S.
