GUI of Excideuil
GUI of Excideuil is the hero of the novel éponyme 12th century, written as former French and for a long time lost. The mistress of GUI of Excideuil is a fairy; it loses it (in an orchard, known as Raimbaut de Vaqueiras) because it starts to think of the queen who likes it but that it does not like.
Several Troubadour S and writers mentioned this novel, of which Raimbaut de Vaqueiras in its song 14 (in the Linskill edition).
