GR. R1

The GR. R1 is a Sentier of great excursion which crosses the three natural circuses that one finds in the High of the Réunion by forming a loop of an about sixty kilo Mètre S which girdles more the high summit of this island of the Indian Ocean, the Piton of Snows. Inaugurated in 1979, it is regularly maintained since in spite of very hard rises and descents sometimes.
