G-links

G-Links or Gorilla Unit like says it 50 Hundreds in its book " my life my vérité" is - a group of American rappeurs founded in 2002 and composed of 50 Hundred, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo - and a label made up of the group in him even and Mobb Deep, Spider Loc, Young Hot Rod, Mazaradi Fox, Lil' Scrappy (G-Links South) & 40 Glocc. With like official DJ DJ Whoo Kid, and of the producers among whom Mr. Rell, Lab OX (arrived recently) and Sha Money XL already present at the beginnings of 50 Hundreds.
Il is necessary to add that M.O.P., Mobb Deep and Ma$e arrived only in 2006 and because of financial problems for Mobb Deep and M.O.P.. The group of rappeurs counts only Lloyd Banks, 50 hundreds, Young Buck, Tony Yayo. The other members form only part of the label.

Unit

Olivia (which does not make of it any more party), Mobb Deep, Ma$e (which does not make of it any more party), Spider Loc and Hot Rod will arrive at the wire of time. Olivia it is the first lady , and at the time single young lady signed on the label. It is necessary all the same to moderate because M.O.P., Mobb Deep and Ma$e arrived only in 2006 because of financial problems for M.O.P. and Mobb Deep initially integrated in the label G-Links Records, 50 Hundred leader of the group n the other hand imposed a musical contribution, which made Mobb Deep while leaving an album of which " featuring" were carried out by the rappeurs of the band.

The rappor of L.A., The Range, as for him, belonged to the label G-Links Records, to distinguish from the group, and took part in the development of albums for the other members but after an argument with 50 Hundred and a shooting, it was expelled by it.

The unit has its own line of signed clothing Marc Ecko. The shoes and the caps are signed by the company Reebok. Already evoked, the production G-Links Records deals today with the destiny of artists rap like Ma$e, Mobb Deep, M.O.P. or Lil' Scrappy.

50 Hundred heard spoken about the Curtis Gang, a dangerous gang exceeding the other gangs of streets. This band leaves the ghetto and wants in its turn to impose its law in the medium of the rap by producing Hazy Eyez , group equivalent to The Game for G-Links.

Discusses

The Game denied with radio operator the fact that 50 Hundred contributed to the success of its album The Documentary (2005) whereas according to the dires of Fifty , it would be thanks to him alone which its album would have been sold so well (matter as it as well holds in interviews pre-rupture and post-rupture) because the best individual ones of its album in term of sale those which were made in partnership with and are marketed by 50 Hundred.

But according to The Game the fact is that Fifty allotted already success before their argument. Fifty would have also asked for the collaboration of sound accolyte for a song of attack against Nas, this last refused, explaining why the rappor of N.Y.C was a legend, a genius as regards rep. Vexé, 50 Hundred started to disparage The Game. But if Californian the claqua the door of the group in a violent way with the famous track from “300 Hundred Bars and Running” which the group answered on several mixtapes and on “300 Shots”; the advantage is objectively in The Game which only has rule its accounts on a track record. The collective answered only several weeks later, and in " invitant" other artists who regulated their accounts with others, completely indifferent to the Beef (they were only insulted to make money and advertizing) initial.

Moreover, The Game had affirmed not to have anything against the rappeurs that 50 Hundred diss (attacks in language of initiate) whereas he sang encooe with G-Links, and that it would be even ready to collaborate with those from time to time, which 50 Hundred took as a defect of honesty towards him, and also towards the group (The Game had been made tattoo G-Links on the arm). Moreover The Game acknowledged that it had entered on G-Links Records purposely and that all that was a plan and envisaged for a long time.

The group is disputed besides by some other rappeurs such as the group The Terror Squad, Nas and now The Game because of their attitude known as megalomaniac and commercial.

Spider Loc at the time of its arrival autoproclama “anti The Range” for two reasons:

  • This one left the group
  • It is a Blood whereas Spider is a Crip , that is to say the two rival bands of Los Angeles.

Spider Loc the attack with the mixtape and disparages it in its interviews. The Game answered him by “240 Bars”.

Also the last album of Mobb Deep is described as commercial by the medium; some use even the term “of purchase” as for the arrival of the duet in the collective. Because of these different muddles with 50 hundred, The Game launched a slogan entitled G-Unot for disparage G-links it. However The Game which had a recent dispute with Rass Kass, as specified as although he wants to make to peace with Fiddy all these other rivals will not be also lucky. Moreover there is a polemic around the second album of Range which ace always to affirm that Dr.Dre will work well above whereas in same time 50 Hundreds went against the remarks of Range and affirmed that Dr. DRE will not take part in the second album of grating of Compton, The Doctor' S Advocate.

It is during the emission of Jones Miss on Hot 97 that 50 Hundred explained why DRE knows what occurred and will not work again with Game. He as added as according to him the album bears the name of The Doctor' S Advocate, to let accept people that DRE takes part in it. Obviously all this is due to the fact that after being évincé of G Links Records last year, The Game is not more on Aftermath and consequently under the supervision of its mentor Dr. DRE. Maintaining on Geffen with his/her buddy Snoop Dogg, Game could still count on the doctor to carry out his “Doctor' S Advocate” (Black Wall Street/Geffen).

But here, in its interview for store XXL of September, 50 Hundreds come to stir up the knife in the wound by declaring that him, and even less Dr. DRE, will not take part in the 2nd solo of their old protected common. A low blow which is likely to cause sharp discussions. Another index raised this fact, like the name of the hypothetically fore-mentioned album “The Devil' S Advocate” on certain sites.

An assertion that Jimmy Rosemond, the manager of The Range, briskly denies by defending its artist and arguing that Dr. DRE always let his foalta leave his house, consequently which it was time for Game to shine by his own means. This known as, the relation between him and DRE would be even stronger than before.

That's no problem, The Game turned the clip of " One Blood" in Los Angeles, and also it prepares video of what will be its new individual (without more precision on the title). In all the cases, we wait all the next on November 7th, 2006 to see whether the MC of Compton have always its word to say in the rap range; so by then it does not change the launch date of course…
