Göran Rothman

Göran ( Georg ) Rothman is a Médecin, Botaniste and translator Swedish, born with Skatelöv (province of Småland) the November 30th 1739 and deceased with Stockholm the December 3rd 1778.

He is the son of Johan Stensson Rothman (1684-1763), professor of Carl von Linné (1707-1778). He studies in particular at Linné and goes on the archipelago of the islands of Åland, in 1765, and Libya, 1773. He translates in particular works of Voltaire (1694-1778) and of Alexander Pope (1688-1744).
