Génogramme
the génogramme or génosociogramme is primarily the diagrammatic chart of a family, gathering on the same diagram: members of this one (generally on two or three generations), the bonds which link them, and biomedical and psychosocial information which is attached to it.
The génogramme is used in Médecine (for example in Génétique), like in Psychiatrie and Psychologie (Psychothérapie S). It is the principal tool of certain psychotherapy techniques (transgénérationnelle approach, Psychogénéalogie).
One speaks then more readily about génosociogramme and it takes again the striking facts of the history of the family and of the individuals, the important events of life, highlights the emotional ties.
It is especially known general public since work of Anne Ancelin Schützenberger.
