Géüle
The Géüle or Jéoule is a right affluent of the Gave of Pau to Gouze, between the Aulouze and the brook of Clamondé.
Etymology
The name of Geüle , Jeule on the Chart of Cassini, is related with different the Geü/Jéou. These name derive from the hydronymic root Jel. Play, jèule also means “Hièble” in Gascon, plant characteristic of the edges of brooks.
Geography
The Géüle is born with Bougarber not far from the castle from Known , then runs out towards the west to join in the gave with Gouze, on the commune of Mount, between Mourenx and Orthez.
