GÃ¥te is a Norwegian group of Trondheim created in April 1999 whose music is a scientist mixes Norwegian folk music, of Rock and a little Electro. Their songs for the majority are taken again of Norwegian traditional songs, and certain words are drawn from poems of the Norwegian poetess Astrid Krogh Halse.

The group announced to want to make a pause the September 6th 2005 following the will of Gunnhild, the singer, to pass to another thing.
