Futoshiki
The Futoshiki (不等式, futōshiki), which wants to say " not égal" in Japanese, has been an enormous success in Japan for 5 years and it arrives to Europe since the end 2006. Its extremely simple rules, as simple as those of Sudoku, are undoubtedly the keys of this immense success.
Rules
It is based on a simple grid in which numbers according to some very simple rules are registered. On a grid of 5x5, the numbers from one to five must be placed in each line and each column, without any repetition. The signs " larger que" or " smaller que" between the boxes are indices which must obligatorily be respected. Each grid has a single solution!February 2007, a generator/solvor/editor of French grid was carried out by BiP media.
