Fushigi Yūgi

Fushigi Yuugi ( ふしぎ遊戯 , fushigi yûgi ) is a Manga of Yuu Watase. Published in French with the editions Tonkam, it comprises eighteen volumes on the whole. It was adapted in cartoon, which comprises fifty-two episodes and three OAV.

Summary of the history

Miaka is subjected to the stress of the examinations. One day, by accompanying Yui, her best friend, with the library, it finds a book named “the writings of the four gods of the sky and ground”. But this book is magic, and the two young girls are aspired inside.

In the world of the book, which occurs in a kind of old China, it becomes the priestess of Suzaku, one of the 4 gods, guard of the Southern country, with for responsibility of protecting the kingdom.

But the priestess of Seiryu, protective god of a rival country, is not null other than Yui…
