Fury de Muskegon
The Fury de Muskegon is a team professional of Hockey evolving/moving in the United Hockey League and located in the town of Muskegon, in the State of the Michigan. They gained the championship of the Colonial Coupe of UHL in 1999, 2002, 2004, and 2005.
History of the frankness
Fury de Muskegon was creates in 1992 after the relocalization of the Lumberjacks de Muskegon of the international Ligue of hockey to Cleveland, in Ohio. The Hockey was present at Muskegon during 32 consecutive seasons until today and Tony Lisman, the owner and chair of Fury, does not intend to let this tradition end. Lisman continues its combat to keep the team of hockey in Muskegon and succeeded until now. The team inclined itself finally against the Trashers de Danbury at the time of the edition 2005 - 2006 of the series of championship of after-season, missing by little the unhooking of a third title of consecutive championship of the Colonial Coupe.
The August 30th, 2006, Bruce Ramsey was named as new trainer-chief of Fury for the season 2006 - 07, substitute Todd Nelson, who had accepted a post of assistant-trainer for the Wolves of Chicago a few days before.
L.C. Walker Arena of Muskegon, residence permanent of Fury, is the place of reference in the area as regards sports events, in concerts, spectacles and several other marketing activities and sporting.
