Furrow of Talbert
The furrow of Talbert is a geological curiosity located on the commune of Pleubian in the Coast-with Armor. It consists of a band of rollers and from ground 3 km length and of which the broadest part is of 35 Mr. advancing in the sea, in the northern direction, it the littoral during the spring tides protects especially.
The rollers of the furrow of Talbert were used during centuries as construction materials until an order of the prefect of 1907 stops the exploitation.
This furrow shelters a population of marine cabbages (protected botanical species) and is used as stage for a great number of migratory birds.
This major element of the site Natura 2000 of Trégor Goëlo is currently in the course of restoration.
