Fungie
Fungie is the nickname given to a Dauphin, having elected residence since 1984 off the town of Dingle, in Ireland. Become a mascot of the city, it attracts the tourists who try to see it - walks in boat are even especially organized.
Presentation
Fungie weighs 350 kg and measurement 3,80 Mr. Totalement free, it is shown very convivial and regularly follows the boats which visit him, carrying out even often somersaults. There exist several means of observing it:- the most traditional manner is to take one of the boats which (without guarantee however to see it)
- will skirt the littoral to its meeting on 2 km at exit of Dingle in direction of Annascaul
- to go on the coastal lane at the beginning of Skellig Hotel to the tower in end of the bay
- to swim with its meeting at the beginning of the Sládín locality.
Fungie has a statue with its effigy downtown.
