Funduq
The funduq is a Caravansérail with the the Maghreb or, in a more general direction, an inn. The word derives from the Greek pandokeia .
Venice, Genoa and all the great mercantile nations of the 12th century has commercial counters in the big cities of the coast the Mediterranean. These spaces are reserved to them to trade, to unload their goods. In Palestine one gives to these counters the Arab name of funduq.
