Fundamentalist church of Jesus-Christ of the Saints of the Last Days
The Fundamentalist Église of Jesus-Christ of the Saints of the Last Days ( Fundamentalist Church off Jesus Christ off To lath-day Holy ) is a religious movement inspired by the mormonism, which was born at the beginning of the 20th century. The fundamentalist ones of Jesus-Christ of the Saints of the Last Days practice polygamy, by referring to the practice of the plural marriage of the Mormons of the 19th century. These people see themselves refusing the qualifier of Mormons by the Église of Jesus-Christ of the Saints of the Last Days. They do not have a bond with historical Mormonisme.
Since 2002, the movement is directed by Warren Jeffs, which succeeds his/her father Rulon Jeffs (1909-2002). The two men had each one 75 wives. Placed on the list of ten fugitive the most required of the FBI, Warren Jeffs is stopped the August 28th 2006 for diversion of minors and complicity of rape.
