Los Angeles, the Thirties ( City off Angels ) is a American Televised series in 13 52 minutes episodes, created by Roy Huggins and Stephen J. Cannell and diffused February 3rd with the May 18th 1976 on the network NBC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the September 15th 1979 on TF1.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene the investigations of Jake Axminster, private detective in Los Angeles in the the Thirties.

The play of the actor Wayne Rogers was inspired by that of Humphrey Bogart interpreting Philip Marlowe in the Big sleep in 1946.
