Fun Tracks is a Jeu of simulation of automobile race centered arcade and fun (as its name indicates it). In this play, it is not question of accurately reproducing the vehicles and their behavior, but of traversing well circuits endiablés at the wheel of removed from rim vehicles.

Fun Tracks falls under the line of Super Sprint, the whole while benefitting from the advent of the charts 3D, in particular that of 3dfx.

It is developed by Unique Development Studios, is published by Virgin and is left in 1997.

Modes of play

  • Only, the player can choose between four modes of play: the simple race, the championship, it against-the-watch, or the continuation mode (it is necessary to finish first to gain, with each turn, the player which is last explodes).

Circuits

  • Lost Ruins : the circuit of the Brazil, in full Amazon forest, it is necessary there to cross bridges of lianas and to cross the vestiges of old civilizations.

  • Yodel Peaks : traversing the snow-covered Austria, it is necessary here to escape from the avalanches and the uncontrolled skids on snow.

  • Thor Cape: this circuit of Iceland is characterized by its green meadows, its volcanos and its jeysers.

  • Tokyo Bullet: in the capital of the Japan, it is necessary to face the risks of the large metropolises (work, deviations, air traffic…).

  • School Drunk: the American school bus

  • Smoke : the American truck

  • Ignition: the vehicle of Nascar

Each vehicle has its characteristics particular (speed, acceleration, turbo, grip) and a turbo private individual, emitting a distinctive aural signal.
