Fun TV is a musical television channel French.

History of the chain

With its creation, on February 22nd 1997, Fun TV is the tele version of Fun Radio. It diffuses the programs of the radio, the interventions of the organizers being filmed in the studios of the radio and the songs being diffused in the form of clips via a system of multiplexing completely manufactured for the chain.

In 1998, Fun TV leaves the buildings of Fun Radio at the request of Axel Duroux, then president of both media and at the end of the year becomes a subsidiary company at 100% of the Groupe M6. The March 5th, it becomes a chain with whole share without direct link with the antenna of Fun Radio. New emissions are installation while keeping an interactive side which had made the success of the chain at the time of its first simultaneous version with the radio.

1997-2000: Radio filmed with the chain 100% live

To its creation, the chain is placed under the responsibility of Ludovic DAZIN, director of the programs, who will leave his place to Jerome Fouqueray until 2000.

From February 1997 at the end of 1998

Fun TV was launched officially at the time of a Dance Machine in February 1997. The concept of then was to bring the image to the radio.

Until March 1998, the chain follows the program of the radio into simultaneous while putting in scene the organizers in a futuristic decoration. New thing for the time, the listeners can finally see their organizers on line and the clips of the discs listened with the radio.

From March 1998, the chain is uncoupled from the radio and lance its personal programs. At the beginning, only 6:00 of antenna are on line assured: 16:00 with 18:00, Fun VJ with David, of 18:00 in 22:00, Fun VJ with Barth, then accosting avc the radio for StarSystem of 22:00 at midnight. Then with the wire of the weeks, the programming is packed, with the appearance of emissions of the radio reorganized for the TV (Lovin' Fun with Miguel and Doc. Wednesday afternoon, Fun Force) or of the new emissions (Fun Generation with Elsa Fayer, Fun VJ…). The musical programming is reorganized to be more in phase with waitings of the public.

Season 1998-1999

September 1998, Dario creates and animates a first version of morning, Morning Fun. The legend wants that the first number of this emission was pirate: Dario, sunken to the chain with a colleague after one evening sprinkled well, decides with this last to take the antenna to awake people. Considering the confidential audience of the chain at the time, the idea is marrer neither seen on line nor known… But the director of the programs Jerome Fouqueray sees the emission, likes the idea and decides to place it on the grid. Since, it will change organizers many times, of version, of name, but remains the oldest emission of Fun TV.

Season 1999-2000

The " Mix Fun " fact its appearance, presented by Dario.

Each evening with 18:00, Elsa Fayer presents the magazine " Generation Fun " , dedicated to the 15-25 years.

" Fun VJ" the evening of 21:00 to 22:30 with Alex functions well.

A daily talk with Barth is born also.

2000-2003: The old one of gold

It is at this period that the emulation Fun TV beats full sound: billion ideas at the minute, the direct one with the shovel where all can arrive and only one watchword of the director of then Frederic de Vincelles: " Have fun " !

Season 2000-2001

It is in July 2000 that the emission " Morning Fun " becomes " Morning Live ". From now on into simultaneous on the big sister " M6 ", it was presented in July by " Michael Youn " then in August by Arnaud Gidoin. Production having put two organizers in competition lasting the summer to choose that which would officiate in September. It is Michael who leaves victorious this duel and which will hold the reins of the emission during almost 2 seasons. In this task it will be helped of two people already present on the last version of the " Morning Fun" : Zuméo (Alexandre Dos Santos) with which, in addition to belonging to the organizers, will be the realizer its of the emission like Chloé, which will hold the standard in addition to animation. Plethora of chroniclers will come to supplement the team, inter alia passed by there Guillaume Stanczyk, Magloire Delcros Varaud (only with being still on the morning of M6 still today), Christophe Debonneuil (who for the emission were invited to the marriage of David Douillet to tighten the hand of Jacques Chirac and succeeded in playing during the tournament of Roland Garros), Sandrine Quétier, Jenny Del Pino and well of others still… Gradually, Michael succeeded in imposing on the emission her 2 assistants Vincent Desagnat and Benjamin Morgaine. It is partly with their arrival that the emission takes off. The trio will become famous thanks to their " group; Bratisla Servant boys " and their Tube " Stach".

The emission " Fun Player " the day sees. 30 minutes weekly making the turn of the topicality of the video games, PC and consoles. The team is made up of Nicolas Beuglet, Lorène Cazals, Stephan Bellaïche and Guillaume Lubrano.

An emission of cinema, " Coming Soon ", presented by Frédé (ric) Dubayle, Fabien Adda and Olivier Pannequin arrives Saturday morning. It is known for its freedom of tone and especially the frankness from the organizers not hesitating to say what they really think of the films which leave (ex: the heading " bandage dénonce" each week a film " parodied; moyen" by diverting its band announces).

" Fun" generation; becomes " What' S Fun ". Always presented by Elsa Fayer from now on accompanied by Tom alias David Lantin. The " Fun Zone " (then Live Zone when it was diffused on M6) was presented each evening by Barth Ruzza (today on OL TV), accompanied by Frère Jerome (alias Jerome Drouet or Djé, currently in load of the morning of Fun Radio the week end) and by Soeur Dutilleul (Alias Jessica or Jess later on Fun TV). The televiewers called the organizer to discuss around topics interesting the 15-25 years.

" Total Fun " , the emission to dedicate the clips arrives 3 times per week. Wednesday, it is presented by Zuméo and the " Cyborg " alias " Aurélien Combelles" which also makes the sound. This last missed systematically on line the sketches written in advance. The week end, the emission is presented by Julie alias Julienne Bertaux and lasts 4 hours at the beginning then will be shortened one hour.

Adrien Lemaître presents in voice-off a daily newspaper multidiffusé on the musical topicality.

The every day with 16:00, Alex Fighter takes the orders of " +2 Fun " with musical news and plays.

" X Fun " , emission with format 26 ' presenting of the extreme images of sports clipées unloads. Repeated a long time, it will be withdrawn from the antenna a few years later.

Special programs

In spring 2001 Fun TV decides to celebrate its 4 years with 24:00 of direct and the heaps of guests.

The " Casting live " presented by Lucas alias Sebastien Joseph makes an entry crashing to pieces on the antenna. Each day of school vacations and this as from February, a candidate amateur becomes stimulating on Fun TV. The televiewers vote for him and the large winner elected in June will be stimulating with the re-entry.

Fun TV puts per hour Loft Story 1 and proposes the " News of the loft " : throughout all play a flash of 5min every hour and the every day to describe what occurs in real-time in the loft.

Season 2001-2002

For much the culminating point of the chain.

" Fun Player" increases and lasts henceforth 1 complete hour. A new chronicler also arrives: Benjamin, specialized in the plays network. " Fun" total; do not exist any more Wednesday and from now on is presented by the 2 finalists of the " Live" casting; : Audrey Garcia (nicely called by the " team; boules" because of its favorite expression) accompanied by Melanie Kah) saturdays and Audrey Sarrat Sunday joined soon by Fifi or Philippe Lachaud, from now on on Channel +.

The " Casting live" returns into daily from now on presented by Julie having begun again her true first name (Julienne). The emission will be a true fish pond of organizers for the chain but also a window for many young people whom one could find thereafter on other chains or in emissions of " TV-reality ".

" Coming Soon " disappears.

" 30 minutes without pub " the day sees, presented by Barth Ruzza. The concept is simple: 30 minutes and not one moreover to discuss of a topic of topicality with the télespacteurs on the telephone and in the presence of a guest. Space privileged expression on the chain, Barth will always receive many distinguished guests with the complicity of a theater company called " the public" (Guillaume Martin, Arnaud Schmitt, Sophie Galitzine, Guillaume Bouchède and Florence Savignat) commententant since the cabins with a tone shifted all that occurs on the plate. Were received shovel-mixes Larusso, Cauet, IAM, Mouss Diouf, Clara Morgane, Bruno Salomone and well of others…

Steevy Boulay becomes stimulating of " Fun Steevy " every Wednesday midday. A few months earlier, Frederic de Vincelles, Patron of Fun TV came on line on M6 in the emission Loft Story 1 to propose in Steevy a work on its chain the day when this last was eliminated.

" the play " , ultimate emission of Fun TV. The every day at midday, Alex Fighter and Adrien Lemaître propose to the televiewers of Fun TV to take part by telephone in plays in which all the members of the chain take part physically, of the owner to the trainee while passing through the engineering team. The plays occur without the studio but also in the labzone (6 webcams laid out in the various offices of the chain: Office of Frederic de Vincelles, the entertainments, of the magazines, assembly bench, places make-up and plate). The webcams of the labzone remain available to Net surfers 24/24. Large anything which offers among the best moments ever seen on the chain and which makes it possible to the televiewers to gain up to 1000 euros. The direct one allows to all the skids… many guests will come to have fun on line during the 3 seasons that the emission lasted. " the Play " will propose special editions like " Play of the fear]] (on line and in middle of the night for Halloween with déco, costumes and make-up of circumstance) or " Play with your mère" (with the moms of the organizers of the chain to help the candidates on the telephone).

Every Wednesday, " Shovel and rake " (which will roll one of them? who will be caught one of them? known as the jingle), presented by Magloire, gives Tournez horse-gear to the last style and makes it possible to follow each week the evening of in love that the chain concoctée at gaining previous week. It is the only emission still with the antenna today on Fun TV and almost unchanged.

In front of the big raise of direct each days, the idea to produce an emission collection of howlers germinates in the head of the programmers. There are grounds for to fill a weekly emission: " For the best and the fun " or more simply " PLMPLF " thus unload every saturday mornings presented by Frédé and Zuméo.

" It is the after appears in July and into simultaneous on M6. Presented by Elsa Fayer and Zuméo, this kind of evolution of " What' S Fun" did not go and did not survive the summer. Nevertheless to note the presence of a chronicler coldly discharged of the Club med named Doudi, from now on more known under the name of Samantha in the program éponyme on France 2.

Emission special

" News of Loft " return under the name " Wink " (in reasons of problems of rights and reference to the logo of Loft) throughout all " Loft Story 2".

" Live Zone" disappears in its daily form to become exceptional (approximately one per month), only on Fun TV and hard of midnight to 4:00 approximately without publicities.

30 Minutes without pub puts per hour elections at the beginning 2002 and receives several présidentiables of which Roselyne Bachelot, Christiane Taubira, Olivier Besancenot, No5el Mamère or Christine Boutin. It was to date the only emission treating of policy on Fun TV.

Season 2002-2003

" the Play " passes from midday to 17:00. The audience strongly feels some.

" Tubissimo " arrive in November and into simultaneous on M6. Play presented by Zuméo and Elsa Fayer. The candidates can gain 500 euros while answering musical questions. Premère emission of Cal TV of Fun TV (2nd on M6 after " Star 6 "). Elsa will leave during the year to join the Bande in Ruquier and will be replaced by Audrey Sarrat, then by Anne-Gaëlle Riccio for the summer.

" Coming soon" returns in a new form where Nicolas Beuglet replaces Frédé in a splendid film set.

Fun TV repeats each end of the week the program of M6 " Popstars " diffused the day before. Just after this repeat broadcast, Lucas presents on Fun TV " Pop stars etc " and proposes to the televiewers to intervene on line to speak about the program and to put their questions with the guests (generally eliminated candidates day before, members of the jury or prod.).

Fun Player still resists, but Stephan Bellaïche is henceforth with the orders, without Nicolas Beuglet (founder of the emission) but with the assistance of Marcus, defector of Game One.

Faim of Series appears in alternation with Coming soon. Presented by Clara accompanied chroniclers specialists in television series.

It is also the period when the Morning Live version Michael Youn stops. It is replaced by a team made up of Laure De Lattre of Loft Story 1, Guillaume Stanczyk, chronicler music on the preceding version and Audrey Sarrat with the standard. Zuméo remains in its place with the sound and Co-animation. The emission makes a correct audience but will remain with the antenna only until June.

PLMPLF (For the best and the fun) is taken again by Fifi and Mathilde Ménard (ex candidate of the " Live" casting;).

Since the end of 2003: TV, yes, but fun?

Radical change of orientation for Fun TV, as well as boss: Frederic de Vincelles yields his place to Pierre Robert. The chain gives up the direct ones gradually and repeats as a majority of the programs of M6 as well as series.

Season 2003-2004

The " Morning Live" change version. Presented by Cyril Hanouna, ARIANE (of Operation seduction 1) and Djé (alias Jerome Drouet or Frère Jerome) which replaces Zuméo.

" Fun Player is shortened with 30min, is not on line any more and all the chroniclers left. Stephan remains all alone in front of a green bottom with launching subjects on the video games.

Last season of the " Jeu" , the emission is blown after 3 seasons and a shift of production and sorrow to be renewed.

" E classification " , presented by Isabelle Labrousse, is the first classification of the remote loading legal on Internet. The emission has " today; déménagé" on W9.

Season 2004-2005

The " Morning Live" change name: it is called then " It is not too early " and a true turning with the preceding versions marks: The emission from now on is presented by max of Fun Radio. Everyone sat around one only large table in a made decoration of hundreds of clock alarm (it even happened that some sound during the direct one). The chroniclers remain from now on all the duration of the emission. One will see there in particular Jérémy Michalak, Jerome Anthony, Sandra Lou, Magloire or Melanie Kah.

" 100 Things prohibited with more than 30 years " , presented by Ferri Karine and Luigi proposes hidden cameras produced by a team of 3 girls (Jess, ex clip fight, Roxie and Ambre) and a team of 3 boys (Sylvain, ex of the band with Fifi, Samir and Farrat). The emission is badly managed, changes several times of formulas and is not able to settle. The result feels some: It is a total failure, regretted by the majority of the people implied in the project.

Season 2005-2006

Re-entry 2005, the emission is replaced by Morning Café with the return of Zuméo, with the departure accompanied by Annabelle Milot but that Ci leaves the emission during the year and will not be replaced. The chroniclers remain appreciably the same ones and accommodate Julie Taton (Miss Belgium 2003), Laurent Artufel and Elodie Gossuin (Miss France 2001).

Season 2006-2007

Pierre Matthieu takes the orders of the " Morning Coffee " , for the first time of its history, the morning is not on line any more, the spontaneousness of the emission feels some.

The emissions worships return in a springtide: Shovel and Rateau (5th) and Fun people (2nd)

Two emissions of actu cultural and extreme sports arrived in November 2006: News' Co - Riders' Co

For the fifth consecutive year, Nouvelle Star is on Fun TV (Thursday with 18:00) but without Nouvelle Star… that Continue which leaves on W9, a chain of the group M6.

The target

The target of the chain thus literally changed since its beginnings: One passed from a chain " artisanale" of proximity to a professionnalized and standardized chain whose costs were rationalized.
