Fulgrim

In the universe of Warhammer 40,000, Fulgrim is the deposed Primarque of the renegade legion of the Emperor' S Childrens

Fulgrim is described by Garviel Loken, in its book on the False Gods, as a splendid being so pale that it seemed albino, with eyes so black that the pupil filled the near total of the eye and brilliances grey hair.

History

Fulgrim

The history of the Legion begins with the descent of the Fulgrim newborn on the planet Chemos, very low in resources, dependant on the trade interstellar for food and cut remainder of the galaxy by wild storms warp

Rationing and the improvisation could not prevent the population of planet from slowly perishing. When the capsule containing the primarque newborn fell on planet, the scouts which récupererent the child requested the chiefs of the camping of Callax to save its life (the orphans being seen as plagues on planet because they consumed the already thin available resources and thus were systematically put at died).

Named according to a former god given up by the believers of Chemos, Fulgrim became soon a true alive legend. With only half of the age of his hard-working comrades, it was able to fulfill its obligations of work without any sorrow. It well quickly assimilated technologies with which it worked and started to modify them, increasing in an important way the effectiveness of the means of production. With fifteen years l´âge, Fulgrim had risen with the rank of chief of its camping and, understanding that its world was degraded constantly, it decided to save Chemos.

Under the control surface of Fulgrim, teams of engineers travelled far from their factory-fortresses to locate the unused mining sites. As soon as the minerals affluerent on Chemos, Fulgrim supervised the construction of more sophisticated and effective machines. Recycling became systematic, thus making it possible Chemos to know for the first time a surplus of production. Fulgrim developed then art and the culture, of the aspects of humanity which had been sacrificed in order to survive. The other campings of planet were combined with Callax and only fifty years after being fallen on Chemos, Fulgrim was the leader of planet.

The Great Crusade

When the Empereur arrived on Chemos, Fulgrim him the Jura honesty instantaneously and was placed at the head of its legion. By the Emperor, he learned the existence from remote Terra, the Great Crusade which claimed the divided galaxy and of its own origins.

While travelling towards Terra to meet its Legion, Fulgrim learned that an accident had destroyed the majority of the genes which were to go to improve its Legion and which, without Primarque, the work of substitution was long and hard.

Fulgrim was addressed then to the two hundreds Space Marines of its legion. The speech which it delivered would have so much touched the Emperor whom it named the the legion of Primarque Emperor' S Children and authorized them has to carry the symbol of Aquila (the Eagle with two Impérial head, the personal symbol of the Emperor) on their armours.

Fulgrim was in a hurry to contribute to the Great Crusade, but the small size of its Legion meant that Emperor' S Children were placed under the command of Horus and of its Lunar Wolves. Horus and Fulgrim got along very well and approached more and more while they pacified the Eastern Edge. As soon as the recruits come from Terra and Chemos supplemented the rows of its Legion, Fulgrim could finally carry out has its engagements well and brought the light of the Imperium has innumerable worlds.
