Fulcanelli

Fulcanelli (1839? -?) is famous and mysterious Alchimiste French of the XXe century, whose Légende says that he would have managed to carry out the philosopher's stone towards the end of his life, i.e. to discover the secrecies of the eternal Vie and the Philosopher's stone (control of the Vie and the Matière) before disappearing mysteriously at the beginning from the XXe century. He is the author of two major works of the esoteric Littérature on the Symbolique Alchimique: the Mystery of the Cathedrals and philosopher Residences.

The mystery of its biography

It would have been born in first half of the XIXe century, perhaps in 1839 or 1841, and would have devoted its life to the Alchimie and with the realization of the philosopher's stone, the dream of the alchemists, is the fact of discovering the secrecies of the eternal Vie and the Philosopher's stone (control of the Vie and the Matière, transformation of the Plomb into Or).

Eugene Canseliet, perhaps disciple in Alchemy of Fulcanelli, tells that it would have met his Master in 1954 with Seville (this one would have said to him: " You recognize me? "), whereas Fulcanelli should have been 113 years old. In introduction to the works of the Master, he affirms that Fulcanelli would have profited from the " Gift of Dieu" ( Donum Dei ), which would mean that he would have discovered the secrecies of the eternal Vie and would have reached the Immortalité.

Jacques Bergier tells in his work with success the Morning of the Magicians whom it met Fulcanelli in 1937 and whom this one would have entrusted to him: " The secret of the Alchemy, here: there exists a means of handling the Matière and the energy in order to produce what the contemporary scientists would name This field a Champ of force S. of forces acts on the observer and puts in a privileged situation opposite the Univers. Of this privileged point, it has access to realities that the space and the Temps, the Matière and the energy, usually mask us. It is what the alchemists call Philosopher's stone the : the universal comprehension of the univers."

The mystery of its identity

The real identity of Fulcanelli always makes debate. The Pseudonyme of Fulcanelli appears to be a " cabal phonétique" on Vulcan - Photogravure ou/et Vulcan - Hellé.

It is possible that Fulcanelli was the collective pseudonym of a group of Alchimiste S. Nevertheless certain very thorough studies, fascinating of account the style of its writing, the indices left by Eugene Canseliet, have advanced names, of which here the nonexhaustive list. Fulcanelli could thus have been dissimulated under:

A female Confrérie of Juvisy or Athis-Mons, claiming ancient principality of Attegia (quoted underground which would be a hoax of high-school pupils), and which follows the Hypothèse that Fulcanelli would have been Camille Flammarion (assumption that had already evoked F. Courjeaud, to see bibliography), dead in 1925, is shown by the foundation of research on the manuscripts 3a (another bunch quite as unknown) to have invented the meeting with Bergier and Fulcanelli.

Few tangible elements, of the Canular S which mingle with debatable testimonys, the file are alas quite empty. However remain the two works of Fulcanelli, exceptional works which, according to many alchemists, make new revelations, untraceable in the whole of the literature Alchimique, on points thoroughly put under silence by the Old ones, like the Dry roads. Remain also the works of Canseliet and their very relevant analyzes. Eugene Canseliet mystifying, perhaps, but would he have lied on his meetings? And why? The mystery remains whole.

The mystery of the third work

In addition to its two known works, Fulcanelli would have designed a third book, Finis gloriae mundi , the end of the glory of the world, manuscript which would have been in the hands of Canseliet before being thrown with fire. The title would be a clear reference to a table of Juan de Valdés Leal, preserved in the vault of the hospital of the Holy-Charity of Seville. Inside this vault, opposite the first, is a second table of the same author entitled " In ictu oculi" , in a wink. This " end of the glory of the world in a wink " would correspond enough to the tonality of the last pages of the two works of Fulcanelli.

A mystery moreover around Fulcanelli: two versions of the Finis Gloriae Mundi circulated. One whose synopsis appeared in the peat of the philosophers in 1988, the other sold in back-store… Each one showing the other of forgery. The question is thus: are this two forgeries? Or was the will of Fulcanelli ridiculed?

Quotations

  • the cathedral is a work of art goth or slang . The slang remains the language of a minority of individuals living apart from the received laws, of conventions, the uses, of the protocol, to which one applies the epithet of hooligans , i.e. of indicators , and that more expressive still, of Fils or Enfants of the Sun . The Gothic art is, indeed, the art got or cot (Xo), the art of the Light or the Spirit” in the Mystery of the Cathedrals .

  • did you think of the fatal consequences which will result from an unlimited progress? ” in philosopher Residences .
