Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks
The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks (福岡ソフトバンクホークス or Fukuoka Sofutobanku Hōkusu ) are a Japanese team of Baseball evolving/moving in the Pacific League.

- Nankai Hawks : 1947 - 1987.
- Daiei Hawks : 1988.
- Fukuoka Daiei Hawks : 1989 - 2004.

History
The club is founded in 1938. Of 1944 with 1987, it is the property of Nankai Electric Railway, railway shipping company based with Osaka. In 1988, Nankai Electric Railway is bought by Daiei, large chain of supermarkets to the Japan. In addition to changing name, the club moves with Fukuoka. The January 28th 2005, SoftBank Corporation, company of media and Japanese telecommunication, repurchases the club, which changes name.
