Fujiwara No Michinori
Fujiwara No Michinori (藤原通憲) (1106 - 1160) a poet and a monk bouddist, so known under its name of monk, Shinzei (信西).
Biography
This sons of Fujiwara No Sanekane exerted a great power on the court, thanks to the fact that his wife had been the nurse of Go-Shirakawa, and was one of advisers of the emperor Nijō and one of combined Taira No Kiyomori, during the Rébellion of Heiji in 1159. He died during this rebellion by facing Minamoto No Yoritomo.He is the author of a history of Japan, the Honchō Seiki .
