Fujiwara No Fuhito

Fujiwara No Fuhito (????? , 659 - 720) was a powerful member of the imperial court of the Japan during the Period Asuka and the Period Nara. He is the second wire of Fujiwara No Kamatari. He had wire with two different women who founded all of the lines important of the clan Fujiwara. He had 4 girls, one of them became the woman of the emperor Mommu.

He played a part in the establishment of the laws of state ( Ritsuryo¯ ). He took part in the drafting of the Code Taiho. He also took part in the revision of the code Yoro ( Yo¯ro¯ Ritsuryo¯ ), but he died before the end of this project, during the summer 720.
