Fuji (apple)

Originating in the Japan, the Fuji is a variety of very sweetened Pomme red, rich in juice and with texture firm and crunching. It is resulting from the crossing of the varieties Ralls Genet X Red Delicious carried out in Japan in 1939 then exported in 1962

Its name has nothing to do with the Mont Fuji but comes from the name city where this variety of apple was cultivated and worked out initially: Fujisaki, district of the Prefecture of Aomori, in the North of Japan.

Culture

Tree of average strength, this Cultivar is strongly carried to the Alternance, it is necessary to proceed to a severe polishing to obtain a regular harvest.

The gathering is carried out fine October and the fruit is preserved very well (until May).
