Frustration

The frustration is a mental state of Insatisfaction characterized by an imbalance between a Désir or waiting and its realization owing to the fact that it is not (still) carried out. The term is little used without reference, that is to say with the theory of the Psychanalyse or a psychological meaning Behavioriste, or like term of the current language.

The sources of frustration can be interns or external. The internal sources of frustrations bring into play personal deficiencies, like a lack of confidence, a fear of the social interactions which prevent from achieving a goal. The conflict can also be an internal source of frustration when the frustrated person wishes to achieve a goal which interferes with another person.

The external causes of frustration bring into play conditions apart from the person, like a blocked road or a lack of resources.

Opportunities of the people are defined by the company, in the structure of the company, by the conditioning of the individual, through the hierarchy and the social status.

Frustration can lead to the depression and deviating behaviors, because it destroys the capacity of concentration and reflection of the frustrated person, who could in the absence of frustration adopt a constructive or creative behavior. In certain cases, that can lead to an obsession or a addiction in order to fill the lack of confidence.

Frustration should be looked like a useful indicator of the problems in the life of a person, in order to give again a balance to him. When the individual is observed with open-minded and tolerance, its emotions can show the extent of its problems in the company.

The method of the liability-aggressive behavior is a way of solving frustration.
