Fruit-bearing
A fruit-bearing is a processing site and transformation of the Lait into Fromage in areas like the the Jura, the Savoy, or the the Alps Suisse S. These Fromagerie S, often of co-operative type (division of the productive tool), and very active still today, find their destination in the development of the milk of the producers.
Etymology
The origin of the word is prone to controversy: for the ones, fruit-bearing comes from fruit : it is the place where the peasants share the fruit of their work , or then make bear fruit their good; for others, it would be derived from the medieval or the Freibourgese " fretière" , of the same family as " fromage".
