Froze (river)
The Gela is a Fleuve of Sicily.
It is born from the artificial lake of Disueri, crosses the flat of Froze then is thrown in the the Mediterranean on the southernmost coast of the island, close to the gulf to Froze , after a course of 21 km, entirely on the territory of the commune of Gela, in the province of Caltanissetta.
Its ancient name was the Gelas or Gela potamos .
It has a left affluent, the Maroglio .
