Frouard is a common French, located in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the area Lorraine.

Geography
Frouard is located at approximately 10 km in the north of Nancy. The city is with the crossing of Meurthe and the Moselle. This situation makes it possible to easily locate the city on the geographical maps.

Religious heritage
The church dedicated to Saint Jean-Baptiste was rebuilt in 1534 as the date registered in the keystone indicates it. In the tower are suspended, since 1833, three bells:- the gross (823 kg) - godfather: Joseph Parisot and godmother: Magdeleine Georgel
- the average (591 kg) - godfather: Hyacinthe Rolin and godmother: Marguerite Perfect (born on June 28th, 1783 in Frouard, girl of Pierre Parfaitet Marguerite Gauvillé, deceased on May 26th, 1835 with Frouard) of Robert DEPARDIEU
- the small one (440 kg) - godfather: Christophe Courtois and godmother: El. Peuchrin
Civil inheritance
; The cross of stamping: Set up with the Middle Ages on the national Place, it remained there until in 1876. Moved in the cemetery (around the church), it was given to the Company of Lorraine archeology and entered the court of the Lorraine Musée to Nancy the July 12th 1883.

The commune has a river port. It is managed by the Chamber of commerce and of industry of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
