Frostastaðavatn
Frostastaðavatn () is a lake in the Highlands of Iceland.
The lake is close to the natural site of Landmannalaugar and in the surroundings of the known Volcan Hekla.
The hills and mountains which intertwine the lake show the traces of active volcanicity. The water of the lake is often of a dark green color.
Two tracks skirt the lake: Fjallabak syðri and Landmannaleið .
