Frontier City

Frontier City , previously known under the name Six Flags Frontier City , is a Amusement park located at the North-East of the town of Oklahoma City. It belongs to CNL Income Properties and is directed by PARK Management.

It was directed by First Parks, (become Six Flags) during several years.

History

Opened in 1958, Frontier City is then based on the topic of the western city. It is initially located at the Fun fair of Oklahoma. He moves quickly on his current field to increase and become a truth Amusement park. It was to create amongst other things to propose the heritage western of the area, and to become high places of leisures in the area.

Bought by the group Six Flags, it becomes " Six Flags Frontier City" in 1998.

January 27th, 2006, Six Flags announced that it wished to sell this park as well as the watery park White Water Bay at the end of the season. The park lost its prefix " Six Flags" January 11th, 2007 to find its name of origin
