The Friuli Aquileia Sauvignon superiore is a white Wine Italian of the area Friuli-Venezia Giulia equipped with a name DOC. since August 6th, 1988. Only to DOC. the white wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in province of Udine in the communes of Bagnaria Arsa, Cervignano del Friuli, Aquileia, Fiumicello, Villa Vicentina, Ruda, Campolongo Al Torre, Tapogliano, Aiello del Friuli, Visco and San Vito Al Torre like partly in the communes of Santa Maria Longa, Palmanova, Terzo d' Aquileia, Chiopris-Viscone, Trivignano Udinese and Gonars.

The Friuli Aquileia Sauvignon superiore answers a schedule of conditions more demanding than the Friuli Aquileia Sauvignon, primarily in relation to the alcohol level.
