Friuli Aquileia Cabernet Sauvignon superiore

The Friuli Aquileia Cabernet Sauvignon superiore is a red Wine Italian of the area Friuli-Venezia Giulia equipped with a name DOC. since August 6th, 1988. Only to DOC. the red wines collected inside the surface of production defined by the decree are entitled. The authorized vineyards are located in province of Udine in the communes of Bagnaria Arsa, Cervignano del Friuli, Aquileia, Fiumicello, Villa Vicentina, Ruda, Campolongo Al Torre, Tapogliano, Aiello del Friuli, Visco and San Vito Al Torre like partly in the communes of Santa Maria Longa, Palmanova, Terzo d' Aquileia, Chiopris-Viscone, Trivignano Udinese and Gonars.

The red wine of the superiore type answers a schedule of conditions more demanding than the Friuli Aquileia Cabernet Sauvignon, primarily in relation to alcohol level.

Organoleptic characteristics

  • odor : vinous, intense, pleasant, slightly spiced,
  • savor : dryness, full, slightly bitter, velvety after ageing

The Friuli Aquileia Cabernet Sauvignon superiore is tasted at a temperature from 14 to 16 °C and it will keep 2 - 4 years.
