Friends of the bus of the women

Association French E the Friends of the bus of the women , created in 1990 on the initiative of former prostitutes, works with and for the people prostitutes. Born to inform the prostitutes on the AIDS, the Bus women quickly became a footbridge between the pavement and the medical departments, social and administrative.

Its head office, located at Paris, is also an office which daily ensures a permanence open to the public concerned. Association has moreover six diurnal and night mobile permanences, in the shape of a bus surveying the places of prostitution of the capital, with on its board stimulating and of the medical personnel.

The main mission of this Community association, with the equal board of directors (male prostitute (E) S and not male prostitute (E) S), consists in working with and for the people prostitutes around the prevention of the infection of HIV, the Hépatite S and the sexually transmitted diseases, to give to them where necessary of the condoms and especially to lead them to go to association to help them in their administrative approaches, medical, social and of looking for a job for those which decide to stop the prostitution. The stress is laid on the access to the rights: medical care, social rights and fundamental. The objective is to allow to the male prostitute (E) S (Re) to develop itself while maintaining and by developing a context which supports an active role, while analyzing with them/they their requests and their needs to work out the adequate answers together. While working with and for the people prostitutes, association fights against discriminations, exclusions and against the traffics of human beings.

Not abolitionist, in other words, respectful of the choice of those which freely chose prostituer, association the Friends of the bus of the women adapts his approach overall to two types of interlocutors: the male prostitute (E) S known as traditional (it) S having chosen the prostitution and the male prostitute (E) S victims of traffickers of slaves (very young people, coming primarily from the Countries of the East, Africa and Asia).

The association counts fourteen paid of which doctors and nurses, the stimulating ones and an adviser employment. She is financed by public allocations which are allocated to him by organizations such as DASS of Paris, the general advice, the CPAM of Paris and the District council.
