Friedrich Hollaender
Friedrich Hollaender (October 18th 1896 - June 18th 1976), wire of the Type-setter Victor Hollander, was a German type-setter . After studies with Berlin, it composed for the director max Reinhardt, engaged in the music of Cabaret and wrote the band of the film the Blue Angel , of Josef von Sternberg. It left the Nazi Germany and was exiled with the the United States of America where it composed for more than 100 films, among which Femme or demon of George Marshall, the Scandalous one of Berlin and Sabrina of Billy Wilder. Many of its songs were made famous for Marlene Dietrich, of which he plays the pianist guide in the Scandalous one of Berlin . It accepted four nominations with the Academy Awards for its work of composition.
