Friedrich Heinrich Lewy

Friedrich Heinrich Lewy (1885, Berlin - October 5th 1950, Harverford, Pennsylvania) was a German doctor neuroanatomist and psychiatrist who is known to have discovered into 1912 cellular inclusions S of substance proteinic observed in certain pathologies of the Nervous system and now called Corps of Lewy. One finds these anomalies in certain forms of the Parkinson's disease or in unquestionable insanity known as insanities with body of Lewy.
