Frettecuisse is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.

The population is " tombée" of more than half in one century (between 1850 and 1950),… remarkable example of Rural migration.

History

1849 : As in all the communes of France, the major population masculine could, for the first time, outward journey to vote thanks to the introduction of the Vote for all.

Church

L' church overhangs the street of the village carrying out outside, towards current the cimetière.

The bell-tower of the building presents a characteristic become rare: Its charpente supplements out of wood, depuis the sol, a little like the churches " of wood upright " of Norway and Romania.

Another village, at least, still has its bell-tower " équipé" of such a frame: Dreuil-Hamel.
In 1908, of the local historians announced a similar bell-tower, that of Orival.

Does there still exist in 2006? The investigation is in hand! …
