Frequency Jazz

Fréquence Jazz is a Lyons radio station dedicated to the Jazz and the Soul which diffuses in South-east of France and with Monaco. It is founded in 1996.

History

The station was created the January 10th 1996 with Lyon, becoming thus the first radio station of jazz in France which is diffused 24 hours a day.

Emissions

  • "The Jazz" Mornings;: emission dedicated to the cultural and regional topicality. Monday to Friday of 6:00 to 9:00.
  • "Robert Indoor": Cultural and artistic topicality of the Rhone-Alps area. Punctually on spot in concert or live, often including guests or interviews. Monday to Friday of 20:00 to 22:00.
  • "Zen " Attitude;: daily program, of the Monday to Friday of 16:00 to 20:00.
  • "Eric Monteiro Jazz Coffee ": daily program, of the Monday to Friday.
  • "Seux which likes the jazz": weekly emission on the History and the stories of the jazz. Sunday of 18:00 to 20:00.
  • "Good time rouler": weekly emission on the musical topicality in partnership with a magazine of jazz & drunk person. Sunday of 20:00 to 21:00. (to be noted that this emission is also diffused on TSF Jazz)

Music

The station diffuses especially music. It presents varied programming: jazz, of the drunk person, funk, blues, or of the gospel.

The station is diffused in Frequency modulation in the South-east of the Corsica France and in : In addition it is possible to listen to it on Internet, by the satellite (Canalsat), by the cable (Noos) and on the Freebox.
