French social model
The French social model is a term employed in political Frenchwoman to indicate a certain type of État-providence within the framework of the French market economy . That includes a strong intervention of the State in the economic affairs, the existence of a Social security and obligatory National insurance contributions , the redistribution of the richnesses via the Impôt, the policy of Intégration of the Immigrés, the State education.
This model is called in question because of the persistent problems such as unemployment, racial discriminations and nuns, the delinquency, the public deficits, the bad image of France and its model abroad, the difficulties of integration, as the problems of the Banlieue S attest it, or the social Exclusion. However, the majority of the political elites defend it as a rampart against the Globalisation.
