French legislative Elections of 1986

The legislative elections French of 1986 took place on March 16th, 1986 (VIII {{E}} legislature).

These elections mark a turning in the history of the V {{E}} republic. Indeed, for the first time, they were held with the poll proportional (departmental lists) to only one turn. But especially, while carrying to the National Assembly a majority from the right, they caused the First cohabitation.
