French highway A54

The French highway A54 is a turnpike managed by Autoroutes of the South of France long ASF of almost 80 km.

Radio Traffic FM (107.7FM) functions on the A54 sector ASF. The A54 forms part on the network ASF of the Zone IS.

Layout

The highway connects Living room-of-Provence to Nimes and is intersected with a portion of fast track N113 between Saint-Martin-with-Crau and Arles.

History

Its first section was inaugurated in the form of a fast track in the South of Living room-of-Provence during the year 1970, at the same time as the portion of the Autoroute A7 between Sénas and Rognac.

In 1990, the portion between Nimes and Arles are inaugurated like that of Saint-Martin-with-Crau with Living room-of-Provence in 1996.

Future

The highway skirting of Arles, ensuring the continuity of A54, is in project.
