French highway A48
The A48 is a highway which connects the A43 (4 km after the exchanger of Bourgoin-Jallieu with height of the kilometric item 41) to Grenoble (Bridge of the Door of France - downtown area). A prolongation towards north (Ambérieu) is envisaged in the medium term. It is called the Highway of Dauphiné.

1968 : A first free portion is opened with circulation between the Bastille (Grenoble Center) and Voreppe at the time of the opening of the Winter Olympics of this city.
