French highway A21
The highway A21 , also called “mining by-pass”, connects Bully-the-Mines to Flers-in-Escrebieux, by coutournant the town of Lens to lead to Douai. It is prolonged by RN 455 towards the A2. The place where the highway stops and where begins the trunk road is currently not clearly defined in indication. But A21 has vocation to be prolonged until Douchy-the-Mines, to connect the agglomerations of Valencian Lens and .
The numbered urban antenna A211 , which leaves towards Avion, is prolonged by the RN17 . A211 must be prolonged until the A26 , to connect the agglomerations of Lens and Arras.
